Medical Projects and Initiatives:

Countries within the 10/40 Window are among the poorest in the world. Thousands of men, women and children die every day without needed medical treatment that can be easily provided. They simply cannot afford it. By helping national churches launch their own medical initiatives, AIMS gives them the tools they need to advance the Gospel among unreached people groups around them.

Mobile Medical Clinics

Mobile Medical Clinics can transport much-needed medication and medical care to people who are unable to afford or travel to a medical doctor. Vans are fully equipped with medical equipment and staffed by a physician and nurse. These clinics will work with church planters and other evangelistic outreaches to target the least reached people in African and Asian communities.

Mobile Medical Clinics provide churches within these countries with a powerful tool to reach people who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By providing much-needed medical attention, these churches will be able to gain access to remote tribes and villages that they would otherwise not be able to enter. They will be able to begin to build relationships with the people in these villages and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. As with other AIMS projects, the end goal is to establish a growing, vibrant church among a people group that will reproduce itself.

Churches and businesses can get involved by sponsoring a Mobile Medical Clinic for India, Indonesia, Ethiopia, or Ghana.

HIV/AIDS Training

Sub-Saharan Africa is home to the largest HIV/AIDS population of the world, encompassing more than 60% of the total HIV/AIDS epidemic. Asia is not far behind at about 20% of the total HIV/AIDS population worldwide.

HIV/AIDS trainings educate pastors and churches how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, how to care for those individuals in their communities who are infected, and how to teach others about HIV/AIDS. AIMS partners have led HIV/AIDS trainings and formed partnerships with organizations in Ukraine, Ethiopia, and other African countries.
