Togetherness:
We can accomplish more together than we can alone.
This is often expressed in the phrase: "The
sum is greater than the total of its parts."
This is the most basic assumption upon which Equipping
for the Harvest conferences
operate. This is a multi-cultural team vision
and effort.
Vision
Driven: Our main goal is to cast the
vision for church planting among the unreached
and to train the participants in how to implement
this strategy.
Mobilization:
Our purpose is mobilization for the task
of world evangelization.
UPG
Focused: Our focus is church-planting
among unreached people groups.
Curriculum:
The materials and curriculum will be
standardized. Thus, we can tailor each topic to
the overall vision for the target area.
Contextualization:
Equipping for the Harvest conferences
will be contextualized for each situtation and
culture, thus requiring translation and interpretation.
National leaders may contextualize standardized
materials.
International:
Trainers will be international in scope.
Equipping for the Harvest conferences
will not be primarily taught and led by Westerners.
We assume that nationals will provide major components
of training.
Exclusivity:
The effort is not to be all-inclusive;
that is, we are not trying to be all things to
all people. We have a narrow focus.
The
Experienced Only: Equipping for the
Harvest is not an entry level training. Those
who attend must have some type of track record
and Bible training prior to attending the conference.
Impartation:
A key value in our work will be to impart truth,
vision, and faith for the supernatural, and thus
multiply the exponential impact among the unreached.
Strategic
Process: We are committed to long-range,
sequential process in church planting among the
unreached, not a series of stand-alone events.
Our goal is to be part of the larger effort of
planting churches among those people groups with
little or no access to the Gospel.
Integrity:
We will work only with those individuals who demonstrate
an established record of spiritual, relational,
and financial integrity. |
