8.4.8
is a mobilization strategy designed to equip teenagers
and young adults and help them reach the nations at
their doorstep and beyond.
Nearly
one million people immigrate to the United States every
year. Many of these people come from countries where
evangelism is illegal and Christians are openly persecuted.
Through short-term mission trips within the safety of
the United States, Philip 8.4.8 connects churches with
the need to take the Gospel to the world's least reached
people groups.
In
partnership between AIMS and Adventures in Mission,
these trips focus on ministering to smaller communities
of unreached people within our country. Each team will
receive training in evangelism, form partnerships with
churches and organizations already working there, and
have the opportunity to share the Gospel with Muslims
and Hindus living in America.
Ministry
Opportunities Include:
Street Evangelism, Witnessing, and Tract Distribution |
Drama and Dance Ministry |
Puppets and Children's Ministry |
Worship |
Prayer and Intercession |
Each
team will participate in a pre-training session, plus
will receive additional training each morning throughout
the duration of the trip.
Summer
Trips are currently available to:
Dearborn,
MI
With
the highest Arab population outside the Middle
East, Dearborn provides a great opportunity to
minister in a variety of ways to Muslims living
right here in the United States.
