Tanzania Epicenter Coordinator:


To develop, promote, and coordinate the Tanzania Epicenter, international activities, events, and projects related to the Tanzania Epicenter.

Essential Functions:

An ability to work well with the other various Epicenter Coordinators and staff.

Develop and oversee the implementation of all appropriate policies and procedures applicable to the alliance.

Researches, plans, creates, develops, implements projects and short term trips to achieve goals, plans and objectives of the Alliance. (Goals, plans and objectives will be with the input of the steering committee once it is developed).

Prepare reports in a timely fashion as requested and specifically for the regular Board of Trustees meeting. This report should include measurable and observable goals, a financial report and future projections.

Oversee fundraising activities, budget, and all other financial matters. Budget should always support activities and the activities and/or events should never take the alliance into a deficit status without consulting with the Leadership and/or the Management Team.

Ensure a positive public image and public relations status. No activities should ever be undertaken that would bring AIMS into a position of questionable status with either the Christian communityís perception of AIMS or with the general public at large.

As opportunity arises, cooperate and work in conjunction with other agencies and organizations with similar outreach, vision or synergistic/complimentary activities.

Foster and help maintain an environment of high motivation and dedication to ministry objectives.

Give appropriate information in order to maintain web page with the assistance of the web administrator.

Assist in the research and preparation of Grant proposals. This is done under the supervision of the Director of Operations.

Submit plans for all trips and events to the Lead Coordinator as far in advance as possible.

Recruit, envision and mobilize churches to complete the Great Commission utilizing AIMS materials/seminars with emphasis on and specifically targeting the least reached people in the area for which the alliance is responsible.

Seek to recruit, train and deploy International Associates to accomplish the goals and objectives of the alliance and insure proper reporting from them.

Qualifications:

Proven background and experience in outreach/ministry, preferably overseas missionary experience.

Excellent people skills and an ability to recruit, lead and manage appropriate staff and ministry outreach.

Good written and speaking communication skills.

Self-starter and ability to multi-task.

Experience with networking and building positive relationships with others within the Christian community.

Proven decision-making capabilities.

Health status consistent with the demands of the job an ability to travel at a level consistent with the requirements of the job description and expectations.

Exhibits traits consist with mature Christian discipleship including but not limited to personal integrity.

A sense of call to missions mobilization.

Sufficient and current financial support in amount necessary to work and be effective in the AIMS ministry. Otherwise, sufficient support will need to be validated prior to assuming the above job description and responsibilities.

Organizational Relationships:

Reports directly to the Asia Director and Vice President of International Ministry.

All Epicenter Coordinators must be able to raise their own financial support.
