AIMS Associates Teaches Harvest Connection in Nicaragua

AIMS News: Posted 10/1/2005

After attending the January AIMS Associates Training in Virginia Beach, "Jose" and his wife taught the Harvest Connection seminar in Jinotepe, Nicaragua. The seminar challenged the local pastors and opened doors for other opportunities to present the seminar.

During the seminar, the 42 pastors who attended were so interested in the training that they decided to skip the afternoon break to continue with the seminar, so they could have time for questions at the end.

"These pastors have a new desire to reach out to other groups within Nicaragua," said Jose. "The vision in Nicaragua is to prepare missionaries and to send them out to their people and also to regions in the 10/40 Window."

The seminar also opened the doors for other opportunities for Jose to teach the seminar. One Assembly of God church invited them to teach Harvest Connection to 100 pastors near San Marcos, Nicaragua, later this year. Jose and his wife also planned to teach the seminar in Merida, on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula in August.

"We want to thank the AIMS team for your great work in preparing us through the week of training, so we in turn can bless others. Please keep us in your prayers."

AIMS invites pastors, church leaders, missionaries, and interested individuals to attend its AIMS Associates Training each year in January and June.
