Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. flour (sifted)
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
Filling:
Grated
cheese
Tomatoes and onion (diced)
Garlic (minced)
Chopped chicken or ground beef (cooked)

Cooking
Directions:
Mix
pastry and roll out on a board so it is relatively
thin and elastic. You should be able to pick it
up from the board without breaking it. Cut the
pastry in squares (about the size of turnovers).
Mix together ingredients for the filling. Put
filling on top of pastry squares and fold the
squares over, sealing the edges with egg white.
Deep fry until they are brown and fluffy.
Serve
hot.
